hello everyone! thank you for waiting so patiently for the next installment in this story. the first of many next installments, to be sure—there’s a lot we want to say with this story, and it’s only just begun!

also, a small note—you may have noticed this already, but this website is designed so that the first page of each chapter can be accessed from the table of contents and from the preceding chapter, but has a different url than the other pages in the chapter. just keep this in mind when you’re navigating the site!

after this installment (which is 3 pages), the chapter will be updated once a week on tuesdays, with two pages per update! i (miralia) will try to keep to this schedule as best i can for as long as possible. the chapter isn’t fully illustrated yet, and i am a VERY slow artist, but hopefully this schedule will give me enough time to illustrate the pages in time to post them regularly. i suppose we’ll see!
